Finals Week Hacks

Do you need all the help you can get when it comes to finals? You’ve come to the right place. Below, you can find all the hacks and tricks you’ll need to get through your finals week.

1. Cut the Music

Your brain can’t focus while blasting your music during your study sessions. So if you must have a soundtrack, try a soft jazz or classical.

2. Chew Gum

You can boost your mental performance by chewing gum while studying.

3.  Don’t Hit the Lights

Keep the lights on and it can increase learning, as well as ward off finals week depression.

4. Don’t Over Caffeinate

This could increase the amount of stress on your body, and you already have too much of that during finals!

5. Take a Break!

If you give yourself a five minute break after 25-30 minutes of studying, you’ll work more and have something to look forward to!

6. Write It by Hand

This will boost your learning. Try rewriting notes, drawing flash cards, and scribbling out solutions to grasp the material.

7. Connect Your Emotions

If you can relate an emotion to what your studying, then you are more likely to remember it.
